For the whole of the wasps season The Waspman will be dealing with wasps nests throughout Trafford, Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire for a fixed fee of only 32.00 (44.50 in postcode areas (L, CH & CW).
Waspgo.co.uk work seven days per week including weekends and evenings and do not charge any supplement for evening and weekend work.
Wasps nests can normally be destroyed from the outside of the premises by blowing a small quantity of insecticide into the opening using a special device.
It is necessary to have a wasps’ nest treated before September when the new queens which will build next year’s nests start to emerge from the nest. Once this commences simply destoying the nest will not eradicate these wasp queens as they are no longer returning to the nest. A single nest can produce around 2000 queens.
During the wasp season we give priority to wasp calls as we are aware that many people can react to wasps stings and it is vital to destroy the nest as quickly as possible. We do our utmost to provide a same day service but this is obviously constrained by how busy we are.
It is neither necessary nor desirable to remove the wasp nest itself as it can never be used again and, being constructed purely of paper it will crumble away of its own accord.
